Wevise Launch Plan

A team-facing snapshot of the website redesign: what's already done, what content we still need, and who owns what by when. Every page now has the new look — full-width hero photos, green accents, and our real logo — and you can preview the whole thing below. The new site is built and waiting; the live site is untouched until launch day.

New What's changed since the last update · Aug 8 (through the evening)

The redesign is fully built — all 20 pages. The last eight now have the new look too: Contact, Volunteer, Coaching Corner, Stories, and our four partner co-brand pages (Blacks in Technology, Code Your Dreams, DPI, Northwestern).
Nothing was lost. Each of those pages kept all its existing content and links — we just wrapped it in the new design.
The Donate button now works — our donation form had been showing up blank (including on the current live site, so gifts weren't going through). It's now connected to our live WeviseDonate campaign and tested working.
Buttons are now blue — moved from green to a more readable blue with white text (an accessibility improvement).
Accessibility (ADA) review done — the site meets WCAG 2.1 AA; a few small contrast and label fixes were applied.
Old green logo cleaned up — removed from the site's search-engine data; the new logo and the name “Wevise” are now in place.

Why one launch moment

How the switch-over works, in plain terms.

Rather than change pages one at a time, the entire redesign goes live in a single switch. That keeps the experience consistent — visitors never see a half-old, half-new site — and it means the current site stays exactly as it is until launch day. The trade-off: every page's new content needs to be ready before we flip the switch. That's what the list below is for.
